VAGATOR BEACH
ABOUT THE PLACE

Situated at the mountain foothill Vagator beach is distinct for its enchanting landscape and beautiful natural surrounding. From the hillock top rows of coconut trees gradually slope down towards the rocky beach. The white sandy beach is a marvel to watch from the hill top. Two cemented paths trail from hilltop to the sandy beach.

Vagator is divided into two main branches – North Vagator Beach and Mini Vagator Beach. The North Vagator Beach is comparatively less crowded than Mini Vagtor Beach. It often remains hidden from the public eyes because of the Latrite Mountains and dense cluster of palm trees. The Little Vagator Beach is prettier of the two. The beach side cafes add to its charm.

HOW TO REACH

Vagator is just about 22 km from Panaji. Mapusa is only 9 km from here. Bus service is available from both the cities. The beach stands 1 km away from the bus stand.
