BARNAWAPARA SANCTUARY
ABOUT THE PLACE

Located in Chhattisgarh, Barnawapara Sanctuary covers an area of 245 square km. The vegetation mostly consists of teak, sal and bamboo. The forest is home to animals such as leopards, tiger, sloth bear, different kinds of deer, nilgai, gaur, etc.

HOW TO REACH

The sanctuary can be reached from Raipur (nearest airport and railway station) by road via Sirpur. There are regular buses from Raipur and Mahasamund to Sirpur.
