ABOUT THE PLACE
Kasauli does not have a scenic lake, nor is there a cascading waterfall or a sunset point to mesmerize the tourists. Kasauli’s charm lies simply in its languid peace. Tucked away in the lap of Shivalik ranges at a height of 6,200 meters in Himachal Pradesh, Kasauli is pleasantly cool and misty during summer and briskly cold in winter. HOW TO REACH
On the Shimla-Kulu Road, Kasauli is connected to Shimla by regular, local buses. Traveling by rail between Shimla and Kalka, get off at Dharampuri and then take a bus to Kasauli.
BEST TIME TO VISIT
The weather is pleasant round the year, except the monsoons, between July and early September. Winter is cold.
