ABOUT THE PLACE

During the rainy season, Araku Valley looks breathtakingly beautiful, carpeted in lush, vibrant foliage. The best way to enjoy the splendid landscape of this scenic hill station is by traveling from Visakhapatnam by Kirandool Express. A visit to the Bora caves in Araku Valley is a wonderful experience especially for their exhibition of amazing shapes naturally sculptured by stalactites and stalagmites formations.

HOW TO REACH

Araku is 120 km. from Visakhapatnam. Take the Kirandool Express from Vishakhapatnam railway station to Araku. Andhra Pradesh tourism offers a train cum road package. Under this package the upward journey from Vishakhapatnam is by this train and return trip is by road covering some local tourist places and famous Borra caves.

The nearest airport is Vishakhapatnam at a distance of 112 km. Bus service is available from Vishakapatnam.
