ABOUT THE PLACE
Picturesque Saputara is the only hill station located in the interiors of the tribal region of Gujarat. Situated at a height of approx. 4,000 feet on the Sahyadri mountain range, it offers breathtaking, panoramic views of the sunrise and sunset. This well planned lovely hill resort, endowed with nature’s magnificent scenic grandeur, has a large lake with facilities for boating, surrounded by beautiful gardens. Some of the places worth visiting are the Adivasi Museum, Gira waterfalls and Okhai Botanical Gardens.
HOW TO REACH
Take a train up to Nasik Station. From Nasik buses run by the Gujarat State transport, private cars and luxury coaches are available for to and fro journey to Saputara.
BEST TIME TO VISIT
Winter is the perfect season to visit Satpura.
