At the northwest of Bankura town, at a distance of 55 km, stands the highest hill in the district Biharinath. At a height of 1,500 feet the hill stands filling the blue sky amid a wide range of flora and fauna. People throng the Biharinath temple at foot of the hill. Some spare time can be spent boating on the lake near the temple.
