ABOUT THE PLACE

Historically renowned for ancient temples and memories of Sri Chaitannya, Nityananda, Kamalakanta and sage Bhaba Pagla Kalna, popularly known as Ambika Kalna, is situated on the western bank of Bhagirathi, 80 km to the north of Kolkata. It hosts a good number of archeological and cultural monuments which are witness of the spiritual revolution of medieval Bengal.
