Everest Expedition of 5 ordinary people

Tusi from Dum Dum earns her livelihood by selling eggs. Chhanda Gayen of Kona, Howrah owns a small shop. Manideepa Datta is a teacher by profession. Debashis Nandy works in a private company. Ujjal Roy is the Officer in Charge of Shyampukur Police station in Kolkata. Together they have gone to Everest expedition. They have taken the South-East route via Nepal. The West Bengal government has funded Rs. 5 lakh per head for this expedition. The climbers started on 4th April and they are supposed to touch the peak on 10th May. The climbing down process will take another 15 days.
